As an elementary first grade educator with 25 years experience working with early childhood students, the fine arts has been a passion I have loved for many years, and have incorporated throughout my curriculum lessons. I have also enjoyed the arts as part of my leisure time and hands on activities. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree from

I believe that all young children need to be exposed to many forms of art to enhance and express their inner creativity, Participating in the arts will help them become strong leaders and professional adults regardless of the careers they choose. I have engaged in professional educator workshop classes in creative movement at Montclair State University and at NJPAC dance choreography with the Alvin Ailey Teaching Artists. I enjoy using my art hand painted parasols for school concerts and performances where my students can use them in their creative movement routines and create their own.

Incorporating my innovative original fashion, Parasols by Marisol designs has been another side of me I get to express and share with others.
